Sponsoring Romeo in Football
Romeo has also played for Briton Ferry whenever possible, racking up an impressive 49 goals in just 11 weekends, all while juggling trials with Cardiff City. From February to April, he was drafted into Cardiff City, where his team secured tournament victories against West Ham, Arsenal, and Aston Villa. These are just a few of his many achievements! Up next, Romeo is gearing up for under-10 trials with Newport County.
The commitment from both Romeo and his dad, James, is incredible—traveling down the M4 three to four times a week for training, plus weekends filled with away games and a 45-minute drive for home matches. Romeo is dedicated to improving even outside of team training, attending 1-on-1 sessions at Pure Football Academy in Swansea with former Swansea/Wales international player Kurtis March.
A massive Manchester City fan, Romeo looks up to Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne, and James takes him to Manchester whenever possible to watch them play.
Good luck, Romeo! We’re proud to support you as you work toward a bright future in football.
